From Sapporo to Jozankei the main road is called Ishiyama Dori. Along this route you can find a few restaurants to drop into to grab a bite while on the road. One of these restaurants is Indo Curry Aman.

Mau is a fantastic seafood style izakaya located in Sapporo. This restaurant serves up some great seafood dishes plus some unique ones that are specialties at Mau. A lot of the seafood here is freshly handpicked from the seafood market in Sapporo. Along with the food here, they have a lot of Japanese alcohol and beer to enjoy.

And they have certainly achieved that goal. Genki Sushi has established over thirty sushi restaurants not only in Hokkaido but throughout the main island of Honshu.

Lotteria is one of the big four fast food restaurants throughout the country. The other three being McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Mos Burger. The company 'Lotte' was founded in 1948 by a Korean national, Shin Kyuk-Ho. After stowing on a ship to Japan the company has grown from selling chewing gum to becoming a major multinational corporation.

Salt Moderate is a dining bar in central Sapporo. Its main attraction is its oysters. If you are looking for seafood plus some western style meats and dishes, this is a good place to try. It can get busy on the weekends, so it's better to reserve a seat or table.

This is a nice little coffee shop on the outskirts of Sapporo on the west side. It is not a far walk from Maruyama subway station and is also easily accessed by car. The coffee shop is two stories plus a small gift store behind it.
