Round One is a well known spot that is a popular place for families, groups of friends and dates. There are three Round One establishments in the city of Sapporo, with one being located in central Asahikawa. All the Round One buildings are huge as there is a lot to do inside them! They all have plenty of parking and are three to four floors high. In the middle of the round one centre is a large skating rink that is used for inline skating, scooters, and they have segway lessons there! There are two options once inside, a flat rate to use all the courts & spaces, or you can pay for just one activity or sport.

The individual spaces that can be rented include billiards, darts, bowling, and karaoke. Patrons can book for every thirty minutes or for an unlimited time flat rate. All the prices vary depending on age and and what time of day or night you are visiting. There is so much to do at round one, you will never be bored! If sports aren’t your thing, then you can enjoy the vast game centre here, playing video games on the machines. Pool table area

In Sapporo, located on the southern end of Susukino (the nightlife district), you can find the Stingray bar. It’s a cool bar sporting a retro look with early rock themes. They have a pool table, pinball machine and a duke box to rock out on. There is plenty of seating and standing room for small groups or large parties. Alternatively, pull up a stool at the counter, have a beer and chat to the friendly bar staff. Bar Stingray is located above ‘Studio 810’ which is a live house for bands.

Bar area with screen

Whenever a band has a gig at Studio 810, Bar Stingray will live feed it on their screens in the bar area, so you can enjoy a drink and get an idea of which band is playing downstairs. When it comes to the beer menu, they have Sapporo and Carlsberg on tap. Bottled beers include Budweiser, Corona, Heineken, Suntory, and Asahi. They also have Japanese sakes from around Japan, such as Lotus and Mitake to enjoy, plus wines and spirits. The food menu includes usual bar fare, including hamburgers, spicy tacos, and duck pastrami. There is a party plan, and Bar Stingray can be rented out for group parties.
