The Kushiro Shitsugen National park (better known as the Kushiro Marshland) is a national park, located to the north of Kushiro on the eastern side of Hokkaido. The park is known for its wetlands ecosystems. 'Shitsugen' translates to wetlands in English. It was designated as a national park on 31 July 1987. Zara is a famous worldwide chain of clothing stores that can found all over the world. It originated in Spain and opened its first store in 1975. Since then, the Zara (which was initially named the store Zorba), has spread out to 96 different countries around the world. Zara finally reached the shores of Hokkaido and opened a store in the heart of Sapporo. This popular clothing store consists of three levels and caters to women, men and children so there is something for everybody.

The store can be found in the Ikeuchi Zone department store. Its a nice area in the shopping district and is next to one of the Starbucks in town. The basement 1 floor is for mens, the first floor (ground floor) is for ladies clothing plus it is here you can find accessories, jewelry, and other fashion goods. The next level up on the second floor is also for ladies plus kids clothing can be found here. Throughout the year they have sales and bargains, especially during the change of seasons, so keep an eye out! There are also various restaurants and cafes around making for a nice shopping day out.
