Kinotoya is a Sapporo based company that has a chain of coffee stores and sweets stores in the Sapporo and Chitose areas. Their stores can be found throughout the city near the main shopping hubs. The company was established in 1983 in Hokkaido. The company not only sells coffees and confectionary, but they are active with environmental initiatives. Their stores are predominantly confectionary stores that can be found in the big department stores in Sapporo, such as Daimaru and Marui-Imai. Here they sell freshly baked cheese tarts and you can smell is definitely mouth watering as you walk past. For lunch and a coffee, their most popular cafe is right on Odori Park.
