Haruichiya Sandaime Menjuku is a large ramen restaurant in Hiragishi in the eastern district of Sapporo. It is along the busy road of Shiroishi Nakanoshima avenue and is very close to Tsukisamu Park. This ramen restaurant specializes in four deiffrent kinds of oils that they use to enhance the flavor of the broth. There is ‘shrimp oil’ for a couple of the dishes, a ‘spicy oil’ for miso ramen, ‘hydrangea oil’ for salt ramen and the last being ‘katsuo oil’. All of them are homemade using carefully selected ingredients, and are used properly according to the characteristics of the soup and sauce.

For the eggs used as a topping for the ramen, Hokkaido selected eggs are use. They are soaked in a special soy sauce overnight and are half boiled to accentuate the taste. The broth is also handmade using Hokkaido ingredients and each dish uses different flavors to create a well rounded menu. There are around eight ramen dishes on the menu to choose from. these include your typical salt, miso, and soy ramen based dishes. Plus they also have a spicy miso ramen, or a couple of shrimp ramens. There are extras to be added if need be, and they have some side dishes, such as a Chinese dumpling dish.
