The Kushiro Shitsugen National park (better known as the Kushiro Marshland) is a national park, located to the north of Kushiro on the eastern side of Hokkaido. The park is known for its wetlands ecosystems. 'Shitsugen' translates to wetlands in English. It was designated as a national park on 31 July 1987. Hashimoto-ke Maruyama is a great little Chinese restaurant tucked away on one of the back streets in the Maruyama district in Sapporo. This place is super affordable and the dishes here are equally delicious. Just a short walk from Maruyama subway station, this restaurant offers an array of your favorite Chinese cuisine. You can enjoy your meal with Sapporo classic beer or why not try some of the Chinese wine that is available here too! Hashimoto-ke Maruyama is run by the friendly owner who happily cooks up your order from the open kitchen here.

Some of the dishes here you can find is the delicious sweet & sour pork (a personal favorite), crispy spring rolls, ramen noodles, gyoza, fried rice, satay pork, and a unique dish which can only be found at Hashimoto-ke Maruyama, a cheese filled gyoza. The cheese filled gyoza is worth a try! The beer here is cheap and fresh plus they have a small selection of basic cocktails and wine. The restaurant is non smoking and although there is no parking, it is a convenient walk from the subway station. This place is great value and very cozy, good for small groups!
