The Kushiro Shitsugen National park (better known as the Kushiro Marshland) is a national park, located to the north of Kushiro on the eastern side of Hokkaido. The park is known for its wetlands ecosystems. 'Shitsugen' translates to wetlands in English. It was designated as a national park on 31 July 1987. Izakaya Yukari is a very cheap place to grab a simple lunch or dinner. They have many classic Japanese dishes on the menu. This restaurant is pretty basic and is part of the Tiara Hotel. This makes it a convenient spot especially for those staying around the area. The hotel and restaurant is on the southern edges of Susukino and is between Susukino and Nakajima Park. It is open until late on Fridays and Saturdays. You can eat here before heading out for a day of activities or after coming home after a night out.

On the menu have they Japanese dishes such as kurage (fried chicken), soba noodles, udon noodles, tempura, and curries plus many more so they have good range of foods. Lots of finger food too and lunch sets. These sets come with miso soup and a salad. In terms of drink, they have teas and soft drinks plus beer. You won’t be looking at any more than ¥1000 to ¥1500 for a drink and a meal making this place a bargain for the money.
