Delicious roast chicken meal

After taking in the sights of Lake Toya and are looking for a nice place to have a coffee, lunch, or dinner, or even a few drinks, then look no further than Toya Arts & Crafts. They are located across from Select 108 shopping and the Toya Tourist Hotel. Toya Art & Craft use local, seasonal ingredients that are combined to make some simply mouth watering dishes. They have a mix of different cultural dishes, including an Indian Spicy Pork Curry, Seafood Bouillabaisse, Roast Chicken, a Sashimi Seafood Bowl (from Friday to Sunday), or the Farmers Seasonal Salad Bowl. All ingredients are locally grown and fresh.

Relax with a coffee

For appetizers there are Italian Olives, Fried Potato With Truffle Salt, or Fried Chicken. Inside there are artworks for customers to enjoy. As the name suggests, Toya Art & Crafts focuses on local craft blended with good local produce, wine & coffee. They have some delicious organic wines, and Hokkaido craft beers to choose from such as an Otaru Pilsner or the North Island Brown to name a few. Finally, with outside seating, you can sit back and enjoy a nice cup of tea, or coffee. The large tables inside are available for reservations making the restaurant a good place for parties as well as for small groups or couples.

Indoor golf simulator

If you are looking for some billiards, darts, or even to have an indoor golf game, then the ‘Golf & Darts Bar’ is for you. It can be easily found on the 6th floor of the Norbesa Building in Sapporo. Simply look for the giant ferris wheel on top of the building. The ‘Golf & Darts Bar’ is next to the ‘Dinos Bowling’. The bar has three billiard tables, five electronic dart machines, and two large golf simulators. It’s a great spot for parties and groups, there is a bar there and a small food menu. Party plans are available for groups, plus there is an ‘all you can drink’ option.

Clean break

There are two kinds of party plans, the first being a ‘darts & all you can drink plan’ for ninety minutes which will cost ¥2600 per person. The other being the ‘billiards & all you can drink plan’ for ninety minutes. This course will cost each person ¥2700. It is wise to book ahead, especially for the billiard tables as there are only three of these. The drink menu includes beer on tap, Coronas, and Carlsberg. There is a whiskey menu that accompanies this. There is also a cocktail menu and for shots, Jägermeister!

Located on the 2nd floor of the new Akarenga Terrace Building between Sapporo and Odori stations, BROOKLYN PARLOR is a great place to refuel. With seating for 130 people, there is rarely a need to wait to take a table. The interior design has all the trappings of a good book café back in the Big Apple, with funky tables and chairs, lots of plants and hundreds of books to thumb through at your leisure. Large windows provide a great view of the brick plaza leading up to the Douchou, the former Hokkaido capital building. Jazz music helps set the mood and on weekends local and out-of-town musicians perform on a small side stage.
