Cafe & Dining Shelf is a western style restaurant that can be found in the Sapporo Parco department store on the 8th floor. The dining floor in Parco has 8 restaurants and the ‘Shelf’ restaurant can be found directly in the centre. It’s a large open restaurant surrounded by (as the name may suggest) shelves full of books and artifacts. There is a bar area, and tables set up for up to groups of 4. The menu has a set lunch & dinner menu that comes with a salad and drink. The plate (main) menu has options of chicken or beef paddy sets, that comes with vegetables, and a small salad. Good value for your money.

Cafe & Dining Shelf also has a curry set, and a salad menu. The kinds of salads include a teriyaki chicken salad, a 10 vegetable salad, and a delicious avocado & shrimp salad. The à la carte menu has french fries, spicy fried chicken, camembert cheese & potato fritters, smoked salmon, and pickles! If you still have room then the dessert menu won’t disappoint! Creamy cheese cake & blueberry cake, classic gâteau au chocolat, and rich crema catalana in a caramel sauce are deliciously pictured for your choosing. All this can be found at the Cafe & Dining Shelf restaurant.

Yoshimi Kitchen is a western style restaurant situated in Parco Department store. They offer a lunch menu and a dinner menu. Yoshimi is best known for its lunch and dinner set menus of mainly hamburg steak dishes with a side dish of salads, soups, and curries. The hamburg steaks come with a variety of sauces, such as curry, soy, or cheese sauces. These sauces can be mopped up with the breads that are available on the menu. They not only have hamburg steaks, but they have pastas, and a large selection of salads.

The set menus and dinner menus are a good value for your money. After your meal, there is the dessert menu which Yoshimi Kitchen is also well known. The selection of mouth watering desserts and sweets, has ice cream, pancakes in cream, and cakes. The photos on the menu (which comes in English) speak for themselves. Soft drinks, beers, and coffee can be ordered here as well. The tables come with compartments in which to put your bags, with seating for 50. There is also a separate space with large tables for big groups that can be reserved.

Located at the Richmond Hotel, Modish Cafe is a great place for lunch, dinner, breakfast, or just for a coffee and dessert. Also a dining bar, Modish Cafe serves up delicious and reasonably priced Western style dishes. Modish also has a buffet style plan. There is plenty of seating for up to 72 people, has a smoking area, a large TV for the solo customer and its conveniently located in the middle of Sapporo. It’s also located at the entrance to the Richmond Hotel so its super convenient for the guests there.

Tony Roma's SapporoTony Roma’s is a world wide chain that specializes in ribs, steaks and burgers with their signature BBQ sauce. Tony Roma’s history goes back over 40 years and its chain reaches over 30 countries, but only recently has it reached the shores of Hokkaido. Their most popular item is their ribs but they do offer a range of other meals. There is a special lunch menu, and a bar and all this is located across from one of Sapporo’s most famous landmarks, the Clock Tower. The space is large, with seating for over 100 people, so groups are ok. There is a separate smoking section and a bar area that serves up beers, cocktails, and non-alcohol beverages.

Located on the 2nd floor of the new Akarenga Terrace Building between Sapporo and Odori stations, BROOKLYN PARLOR is a great place to refuel.
