Yushoku Tonsai Ichi Ni San is a pork restaurant that is located on the dining and restaurant floor in Stellar Place. The brand behind the restaurant is “Kagoshima Black Pork”. Kagoshima being a large city on the southern island of Kyushu. This restaurant has an extensive menu. The menu primarily consists of pork dishes, though noodle dishes can also be found to enjoy. Their specialty is a fusion of Black Pork Shabu Shabu with a soba soup. Delicious! There are also other various dishes from Kagoshima that can be found on the menu.
They also offer other menus with Kagoshima Black Pork, such as pork cutlet, skewered cutlet, and ginger-flavored fried pork, as well as Kagoshima’s local dishes and sashimi. The restaurant is nicely set out and has a distinct Japanese feel, and being in the Stellar Place, JR Tower building, you can get some nice views looking down onto the plaza outside of Sapporo station. This is a great (and affordable) restaurant to enjoy a nice lunch or a dinner. And after having a good meal, you can do some shopping or watch a movie at the cinema on the floor above!

The Fukuyoshi brand formed in 2013, is the creation of a merger between two Japanese companies dating back over eighty years. The Fukui Seisakusho company (founded in Asahikawa in 1948), and the tea shop “Yoshikawaen” (established in 1945). The result of this merger has bought in three fantastic cafe/restaurants to the Hokkaido region. There are two of these cafes in Asahikawa, and one is the city of Sapporo. At these restaurants you can find some delicious teas, coffees, ice creams, and some great curries, including mouth watering soup curries.
The main cafe in Asahikawa has been renovated from the historic building “Kitajima Flour Mill”, which was built around 1914. The store in Sapporo also has a lovely rustic feel, as it was renovated from a brick stable originally built in 1955. The menu has a lot to choose from with three main type of dishes. Each is equally delicious. Fukuyoshi has soup curries with a dozen to choose from (the hamburger and vegetables curry is delicious), plus they have curry and rice dishes, and they also have hot skillet beef hamburg sets. Fukuyoshi is famous for its coffees and its ice cream so make sure you try these too!

The basement floor contains ‘the Atrium’ which is a huge space full of restaurants, inside garden, stage, and event space. It is here you can find Cafe Espuma. Due to its central location, it is an often crowded restaurant and sometimes difficult to get seating, especially for big groups. Once inside and seated you can enjoy tea, coffee, or the meals on their menu.

Location / Getting There | Located in Sapporo at the Factory shopping centre. It's on the basement floor in the restaurants area. 〒060-0032 Hokkaido, Sapporo, Chuo Ward, Kita 2 Johigashi, 4 Chome, Sapporo Factory Sanjokan B1 |
Located in the heart of the Factory shopping center, there are a dozen restaurants to grab some lunch or dinner. Dekitateya is one of these restaurants. It is a large restaurant that has a distinct Japanese feel to it. The restaurant has some nice Japanese design to its interior, and the serveware is crafted beautifully. Each dish comes with an old ceramic pot of tea. The menu only comes in Japanese but it has pictures of each dish, so for those from distant lands, it’s easy to point and order.
The menu has predominantly seafood dishes. The main dish is broiled fish served with a rice bowl, a small salad, a small meat dish and of course, a steaming bowl of miso soup. This is a great lunch set to get. Other dishes include salmon roe, tempura, or shrimp. The alcohol menu is extensive with beer, whiskey (the ever popular highballs), lemon sour and tea, plus shochu and tea which is a nice drink. They also have soft drinks and juices. The staff here are friendly, though not a great of English ability, but this restaurant is a nice Japanese experience.
