Kayu San Chin is part of the Green House Foods company. The Kayu San Chin is a popular restaurant with around half a dozen stores around Japan. This restaurant has a nice selection of dishes with a fresh taste. The asian dishes on the menu are prominently Chinese, and they also have some delicious Vietnam cuisine! You can find noodles, prawn wanton (dumplings), rice porridge, and soups. All dishes have a variety of vegetables or seafood toppings which add to the tasty meals.

The set meals come with a dumpling and a soft almond jelly for dessert. If you are in a rush or want to eat elsewhere, Kayu San Chin also offers a takeaway option which is handy! Located in Paseo Dining West and on the B1 floor, this small and convenient restaurant is popular place for hungry customers.

Parco is a popular department store found in the middle of Sapporo. Parco has ten floors and has a variety of shops, fashion brands, lifestyle goods, cosmetics, coffee shops and a large range of restaurants. There are over hundred stores, with most of them participating in the tourist tax free program, with Union pay available in all stores.

3rd floorThe third floor has ladies' clothing and a few men's clothing stores. The interior living store `Franc Franc` can be found here, as well as a store selling old wooden furniture. There is also a hair salon, and a nail salon located here.
2nd floorThe second floor of Parco has a variety of men's and women's clothing stores. There are some brand name shops including 'Diesel' and 'United Arrows'. There are also some shoe stores, and a glasses store.
1st floorThe first floor has the main entrances onto two streets. Ladies' and men's clothing stores, and accessory stores are on this floor. The entrance to Starbucks is also here. The Stabucks has window seating and WiFi.
B1 floorThis floor has ladies' clothing stores, a kimono store, negligee, cosmetics, bags, and imported goods.

Hamburg and shrimp set

Saint Rose is a western style restaurant that has a little bit of everything for their customers. With 120 drink and food items on their menu there is something to suit any guest, whether it be for lunch, dinner, a sneaky dessert, or a relaxing tea with friends. Located in the Paseo West Dining area, it is in a convenient location right near the shopping locations and close to Sapporo station. There is plenty of seating with a separate section for smokers, so there are generally no long lines to get in!

Sundaes

Saint Rose, as with most of the restaurants in Paseo Dining, cater for the tourists as well as the local customers. The staff have a little English ability and the menu comes in not only Japanese, but other languages. The extensive menu has spaghetti, omelettes, gratin, sandwiches, salads and hamburg sets. There are desserts, and sundaes, and teas coffees, and there is beer for those who want to stop in for drink. Saint Rose is a good place to have some lunch, with their set menus, or to stop in for an easy dinner.

Pleasant interior

Originating in Shibuya in 1976, Yomenya Goemon is a fusion of Italian and Japanese ingredients to create new, as well as traditional pasta dishes. With three locations around Sapporo, you can enjoy some delicious spaghetti dishes at these restaurants. And if you really enjoy the taste of Yomenya Goemon pastas, then you can also take it home! Sauces are available to order at the restaurant, or from their online shop through their website. On the menu, there are the traditional Italian pastas, plus new Japanese dishes such as the bamboo steak and broiled scallop with peperoncino, or the carbonara with cod roe and yuba.

Carbonara with camembert cheese

The Italian ingredients include olive oil from north and southern Italy. Palmigiano is the cheese of choice for Yomenya Goemon, as well as delicious Italian tomatoes that are used in their sauces. And in keeping with the Japanese fusion, the dishes that the meals are served on are made from traditional Arita-yaki (Japanese porcelain). This original pottery is smooth and painted with intricate patterns, to add to the Yomenya Goeman experience. So, whether it be for a pleasant lunch or dinner, you can try some unique pasta dishes at any of these delicious restaurants in Sapporo.

Using seasonal Hokkaido ingredients, Jinbei is a delicious seafood restaurant that can be found in Paseo West dining. Here you can enjoy delicious seafood cuisine in Japanese style. You can dine on a large selection of succulent sashimi, or why not try the tasty ikura (salmon roe), or if you have never tried uni (sea urchin), then here is your chance! Jinbei also has salads, grilled fish, grilled crab, and if you don’t prefer seafood, then there are some meat dishes of ham, fried chicken, and cooked mutton. For drinks there is a selection of beers and soft drinks, Japanese sake and some excellent plum and yuzu wine! Ginza Lion is a well known national chain of restaurants, who also a have a couple of restaurants overseas. Ginza Lion is a western style restaurant with a German / beer hall theme. There are four restaurants in the downtown Sapporo city area. In other locations around Hokkaido, one is located at Sapporo Dome , one is at Chitose airport, and one more is by Asahiyama zoo. During the summer, Ginza Lion has a beer garden outside of Sapporo station which is a popular spot to have beer!

The Ginza Lion menu is huge, with anything and everything available to order. Steaks, chicken, salads, pastas, pizzas, seafood, soups, curries, and sandwiches, it’s all there!
