There are three locations throughout central Sapporo. The main store can be found in west Sapporo. To get there, take the tram to Nishisen Juichi Jo station. It is a 5 minute walk from there.
The other two stores are at Sapporo station, Paseo dining area, and in central Sapporo at the Mitsukoshi department store.

Sweet tooth or looking for a nice gift? Chocolatier Masále could be the store for you. The chocolate store was originally created in 1988. At that time there were very few confectionary stores that specialized in delicious chocolate. Hokkaido, having a similar climate to Europe, was the perfect spot to start creating some delicious sweets. Chocolatier Masále uses forty to fifty kinds of carefully selected high quality chocolates from around the world! Fresh dairy products from Hokkaido are also to create their wares. Their chocolates are handmade and designed to appeal to the eyes as well as the tastebuds!

All stores sell a variety of beautifully presented cakes and chocolates. There are also boxed chocolates plus pastries. In Sapporo, in the entertainment district of Susukino there is a cozy little restaurant that has a menu full of delicious dishes! The term ‘Dosanko’ is used for people born and raised in Hokkaido. The restaurant is quite small so it is not always easy to get a seat (especially for groups). It is run by two ‘dosanko’ staff who are very friendly and take a real pride in their food. For such a small restaurant, they really pack an extensive menu that will please any guest. The dishes are predominantly Italian, though they do have some French and Spanish thrown in for good measure.

The food menu has some great appetizers and snacks including home made pickles, plus olives, chicken liver pate, a cheese or salami platter, shrimp ahijo, and also a highly recommended beef served under a red wine stew. For more traditional Italian dishes, you can’t go wrong with their selection of pasta dishes. Plus they have risottos, and of course some pizza dishes. They serve up a mouth watering Chicken Genovese pizza. The drink menu has some delicious wines as well as beer, whiskey, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. Dosanko Dining is a top spot for a date, or for small groups up to four where you can sip in some nice wine and enjoy a fantastic meal!
